As we Gather Round

We gather round the alter,
To celebrate our sacrifice,
In our hearts we are united,
In our minds we are one.
We know, we know,
That love unites,
Please let’s not grow cold,
Round the table of the Lord.
The bread and wine that we offer,
Are but symbols of our life.
The joys that we hold in common,
Are our work of pain and strife.
